The measuring head GR-105k is designed for co-operation with the pH meters of the 105 series.
GR-105k measuring head is designed for redox, (mV / ORP) measurements in water solutions.
The electrode consists of a measuring and reference half-cells. The measuring part is a platinum wire placed at the end of the electrode, its potential depends on the oxidation - reduction balance in the measured solution.
The reference part is Ag/AgCl in KCl solution saturated with silver chloride.
The contact with the sample is ensured by a ceramic diaphragm (junction).
The glass body is equipped with a hole for refilling.
The typical fields in which the electrode is used are: controlling of the ORP in chemical or biological treatment of the municipal sewage and industrial waste, measurements of the surface water quality, fermentation processes etc..
