OPTICAL OXYGEN SENSOR DO-1

The optical oxygen sensor is designed for measurements of concentration of oxygen dissolved in liquid. It has several advantages in comparison with membrane, galvanic sensors.

Characteristic features:

The sensor cooperates exclusively with CO-404 meter adjusted to optical measurements.

Operation

The sensor has a replaceable optical cap covered with a fluorescent dye. Under the influence of light emitted by a diode located inside the sensor, the fluorescent surface of the diaphragm emits light. The intensity of fluorescence reduction under the influence of light depends on the concentration of oxygen in the tested liquid. This relationship is calculated based on the appropriate formula.
DO-1 has a built-in temperature sensor used for automatic temperature compensation. The information is transmitted to the device in digital form.

Accessories

The sensor is equipped with a calibration vessel used for calibration and storage in optimally humid environment.
