TEMPERATURE SENSORS CT2B-121, CT2A-121, CT2S-121

The offered by us temperature sensors are designed for temperature measurements of liquids, semisolid substances, air and gases.
They may be used during laboratory, field and industrial (continuous) measurements.
The sensor's pipe is made of stainless steel which, in most cases, protects the measuring element against mechanical damages or damages caused by aggressive compounds of the solutions.
The senors are equipped with a silicone cable resistant to temperatures up to 250 °C. As option a special steel braid is offered to protect the cable against mechanical damages.

CT2B-121 sensor is added to standard sets of ELMETRON meters.

CT2A-121 sensor, with higher accuracy, may be ordered as option. Cooperates with all our meters.

CT2S-121 sensor, selected, most accurate of this series, offered with the PT-411 thermometers and meters of 461, 601 and 705 series.

The measuring elements are Pt-1000 resistors made by the Heraeus company.

The CT2B-121 sensor is made with the Pt-1000B resistor,
in the range 0 ÷ 100 °C the error is not higher than ±0.8 °C.

The CT2A-121 sensor is made with the Pt-1000A resistor,
in the range 0 ÷ 100 °C the error is not higher than ±0.35 °C.

The CT2S-121 sensor is made with the Pt-1000S resistor,
in the range 0 ÷ 100 °C the error is not higher than ±0.1 °C.

The errors of the Pt-1000 resistors are changing together with the temperature change. In 0 °C are the lowes.

The maximal error of the class B sensor is determined according to the formula:
dtmax = ±(0.30 °C + 0.005t),
where: t – displayed temperature in °C.
The maximal error of the class A sensor is determined according to the formula:
dtmax = ±(0.15 °C + 0.002t),
where: t – displayed temperature in °C.

tSelected resistor Pt-1000S with the guaranteed accuracy in the range 0 ÷ 100 °C = 0.1 °C. Beyound this range the accuracy is determined according to this same formula as for the Pt-1000B resistor.
In reality the selected resistors have a higher accuracy, also beyond the guaranteed range.

The total measurement error is a sum of the sensor's and the meter's errors.
